The Regional KIS 100 event on 11 May 2010 will promote service innovation in Estonia (and Latvia) by bringing together the regional stakeholders in this field.

Innovation practitioners, policy makers as well as SMEs and industry experts will come together to network and discuss ways to enhance innovation in the service sector. A number of regional SMEs that are successful in knowledge intensive industries will be showcasing their approach to service innovation. In addition, the issues of how regions can support the emergence and growth of knowledge intensive service companies for example through clusters or regional support measures will be discussed.

The event is hosted by the Baltic Innovation Agency and takes place in parallel to the "New Ways to Competitiveness 2010" conference (11 & 12 May).
