Meet the future of European ICT Entrepreneurship

is a Horizon 2020 project from the European Commission aimed at training young future ICT entrepreneurs in Europe. It organizes 7 thematically focused Summer Academies in 7 different European cities that follow a lean-training structure and emphasize strong team-building as well as learning-by-doing processes. The first 3 Academies were held during this year’s summer in Sheffield, Trento and Munich/Nuremberg.

Each academy focused on a different entrepreneurial subject.
The Sheffield Digital Health Academy identified entrepreneurial solutions to healthcare challenges and supported participants in pursuing their own ideas.
During the  Trento Cyber Security Academy participants identified innovative solutions in Cyber Security and presented their own, innovative ideas.
The Internet of Things Academy, which took place in Nuremberg and Munich, trained future entrepreneurs in developing their own Internet of Things based products, services and associated business models.

The 3 best teams of each academy have been invited to join a 3 day accelerator Bootcamp, focused on intensifying and broadening their knowledge and pitching skills.

The Bootcamp will take place from the 30th of Sep tember until the 2nd of October at the ICAB incubator in Brussels
