Ideon Science Park is one of Europe's most successful meeting places for visionaries, entrepreneurs and for venture capital. This is where many global leaders in the fields of ICT, Life Science and Cleantech have started their journey. And stayed. At present, Ideon has 250 000 square metres of office space and about 400 companies operate here, employing more than 8 000 people.  50 of these companies are starups in the diffrerent incubator programs, and 10-15 of the Wolrd´s largest innovation companies have their R&D office here, like Microsoft, Huawei, Schneider Electric, Bosch and Volvo. The Ideon Science Park´s main focus areas for the future are Future Transportation, Smart Cities, Connected Health and Smart Material.

Ideon Science Park is run by the real estate companies Wihlborgs, Vasakronan and Castellum, Lund University and Lund Municipality.
