Overview

The UTILE project (the EU-Health Innovation Marketplace) is funded by the EC and aims to analyze the results of all finished Health projects within FP7 and H2020, as well as identify and support research results with the highest potential for further valorization and exploitation.

 

UTILE has the pleasure to announce the 2nd Business and Innovation Training Workshop and the UTILE Brokerage Event on October 10th and 11th 2018 in Bologna, Italy, where participating projects will also benefit from free access to connected activities under the MIT4LS2018 framework.

 

The Training Workshop will take place on October 10th  from 11 to 16h and will attract promising health and life science projects funded under FP7 and Horizon 2020.

  • The aim of the workshop is to help the most promising projects build on their exploitation strategy and improve their exploitation potential, supporting the valorising of their results. 
  • Upon request, projects will be given the chance to receive face-to-face consultation from leading industry experts.
  • The training sessions will focus on topics such as IP management, Financing and Commercialization routes and will be led by acknowledged international experts.
  • Pitching training will also be organized to help participating projects improve their pitching skills to investors during the dry pitch session from 16 to 18h.

Furthermore, projects which are potentially looking for investments and/or partnerships, as well as projects which have or will soon have potential for commercialization of results, are invited to register for the the UTILE Brokerage Event, which will take place on October 11th, where selected projects will pitch in front of international investors and industry representatives and discuss investment or partnering opportunities.

 

In the framework of the MIT4LS2018, additional opportunities offered by UTILE include free access for selected projects to 

 

All participating projects are also given the opportunity to take part on 10th - 12th October 2018, at the 5th edition of the international conference Meet in Italy for Life Sciences 2018, the leading national matchmaking and update event on Life Sciences.
